Cricket Ireland and Evara, Ireland’s largest privately-owned homebuilder, have announced a new multi-year sponsorship deal that will support women’s cricket and the all-Ireland Irish club cup competitions.

As part of the new partnership, Evara will be the main sponsor of the Ireland Women’s senior international cricket team and Ireland Under-19s Women’s team – this includes playing shirt sponsor. The company will also be the title partner of Cricket Ireland’s four All-Ireland Club Cup competitions – the Evara Irish Senior Cup, Evara National Cup, and the Evara All-Ireland T20 Club Cup (men’s and women’s versions).

The announcement comes as the Women’s Senior international squad prepare for a busy summer in 2026 with upcoming matches against the West Indies, Pakistan and England, as well as competing in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in June.

In addition to the sponsorship activity, Evara will support community activity as a central feature of the new partnership. This will include video storytelling, club cup finals coverage and opportunities for fans and local communities to engage with Ireland Women players as the squad aims to shine on the world stage.

As Ireland’s largest private homebuilder, Evara has already delivered more than 3,000 homes in the Greater Dublin Area and is nearing its target annual output of 1,500 homes. Backed by global investment firm TPG, the company is investing €2 billion to deliver more than 7,000 new homes over the next five years.

Evara’s focus is on building not just new homes, but innovative and sustainable communities that are strategically located near employment hubs, transport, retail, and leisure amenities. The company has a track record of developing new parks and playing pitches next to housing developments, creating opportunities for sport to further strengthen and unite new and existing communities.

The opportunity to sponsor women’s cricket was appealing to Evara as Cricket Ireland also shares a focus on community as part of its work to grow the sport throughout Ireland. Cricket is an increasingly popular sport in areas where Evara has developed or is developing new homes and this is particularly the case in Adamstown in Dublin where Evara is the lead developer of Ireland’s fastest growing new suburb.

Evara has an established relationship with Adamstown Cricket Club. which is now the largest club in Ireland with eight adult teams and twelve youth teams.

Sarah Keane, CEO of Cricket Ireland, said:

“The Ireland Women’s senior international squad is a growing force in world cricket. Their development and improving competitiveness on the global stage over recent years has significantly raised the profile of the team, as well as a number of the leading players. As a group, they are not just high-performing athletes, but also role models for young Irish cricketers, especially young girls. As such, we have been very thorough in aligning the squad with a new sponsor, and very pleased to announce Evara as Ireland Women’s new main sponsor.

“We are delighted to welcome CEO Michael Hynes and the entire staff of Evara to the Irish cricket family. What excites us about this partnership is that it reflects a shared focus on community – bringing together our commitment to grassroots cricket across Ireland with Evara’s vision of building places where people want to live and where neighbourhoods come alive.

“A key driver for Evara to partner with us is their interest in being able to support and grow women’s sport, and in doing so, aiming to make cricket a sport of choice for women and girls across Ireland. Evara’s community-focus also aligns with our vision to increase participation and inspire the next generation of players.

“Equally, their support of the club game – through the club cup competitions – will see Evara invest in enhancing the profile and visibility of our great game across this island – which will, in turn, build strong foundations for our clubs at all levels.”

Michael Hynes, CEO of Evara, said:

We are thrilled by this new partnership and excited to be working with Cricket Ireland. Ireland’s women’s cricket teams are a growing force in the sport thanks to their dedication, determination, skill levels and competitive edge. We are delighted to play a part in supporting the Senior Women’s squad and Under-19 Women’s squad as they continue to make their mark at international level.

“As part of our work in building and delivering new homes and communities, Evara is aware of the increasing popularity of cricket in Ireland and particularly so in Adamstown, where we are the lead developer. We are delighted to support the growth of an inclusive sport with an ability to bring communities and people together. As such, we are proud that our sponsorship agreement with Cricket Ireland will also help to nurture and develop cricket at club level across the country through our sponsorship of All-Ireland Club Cup competitions.”
