Evara, Ireland’s largest private homebuilder, has announced the appointment of Ross Laurie as its new Head of Commercial.
Mr Laurie, who is from Newcastle in England, has a background as a Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience in the new build housing sector.
He joins Evara in a newly created Executive role as Head of Commercial having previously held positions within three of the UK’s largest PLC housebuilders including Persimmon Homes and most recently, Barratt Redrow.

Prior to this, Mr Laurie, 39, worked in several roles for Newcastle-based Bellway Homes, most notably as Group Head of Commercial and Group Commercial Director.
In his new role, Mr Laurie will oversee the commercial aspects of Evara’s growing pipeline of construction sites. At Evara, our focus is on delivering new affordable homes in carefully planned communities that are well-served by new infrastructure, amenities and facilities. Ross has considerable experience and expertise in the homebuilding sector, and we look forward to the valuable contribution he will make as we continue to respond to the country’s pressing need for new homes.”
Mr Laurie said: “I am extremely excited to be joining Evara at a time when the business is growing its development pipeline and has ambitious plans to increase its output.
